If you are heading this way or just want a longer flight, Jackson is a great destination for the legendary $100 hamburger. The aptly named, Airport Restaurant (517-783-3616) is located in the main terminal building.
The best airport restaurants all have some common characteristics: big windows right up against the tarmac, adjacent aircraft parking, great food and a friendly atmosphere. Jackson doesn’t disappoint. On a good weather day, you may actually have a few minutes wait for a table since the word is out on this spot.
